Job summary

Family Health Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Dental Patient Services Representative for our onsite dental department. The role combines administrative tasks with direct patient care coordination, including verification of demographics and insurance and handling co-pays, appointments, and check-in/check-out.

Two to four years of college or equivalent experience is preferred, and a Medical Office Administration certificate is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required; two to four years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Medical Office Administration certificate strongly preferred; bilingual English/Spanish required or as needed to support other languages.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Handle co-pays, scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments; check-in/check-out.
• Provide patient education materials and resolve tasks from medical providers.
• Scrub schedules and maintain patient waitlist with timely updates.
• Deescalate issues and ensure communication with medical teams for patient satisfaction.
