• HIPAA training and familiarity with PHI handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and coordination with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and coordinate appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims, follow up on claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
• Post patient payments and process accounts receivable; review treatment plan fees and payment options.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential.
