Job summary

Western Dental is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead back office staff at our Los Angeles dental practices. You will supervise scheduling, training, performance reviews, and ensure patient satisfaction while coordinating with Dentists and maintaining OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow, sterilization, inventory, and participating in monthly meetings to drive the Ultimate Patient Experience. Full-time status offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have current X-Ray License or agreement to obtain within six months
• Experience supervising a team of 8-12
• Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for patient management by partnering with dentists, providing pre/post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by reviewing sign-in sheet and appointment book and adjusting the schedule
• Ensure sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies
• Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc.
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)
