The ideal candidate has 2+ years in dental or healthcare billing, strong knowledge of ADA codes, and proficiency with Dentrix/Open Dental.

Qualifications

• Previous dental/healthcare billing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies and ADA codes.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Discuss financial options with patients, including treatment costs and payment plans.
• Verify dental insurance benefits; submit claims; track status; follow up on denials.
• Manage patient billing, apply payments, monitor balances, and resolve concerns.
• Provide clear financial guidance to patients and families on costs and responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in the software.
• Assist with scheduling financial consultations and prepare cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with clinical and front office teams to support patient experiences.
• Support front desk operations as needed and handle reminders.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and billing processes.
• Participate in meetings and continuing education on billing regulations.
