Job summary

Modern Dental Laboratories is seeking a shipping coordinator to support our Livermore, CA operations. The role involves tracking and entering information in systems, preparing shipping materials, and ensuring accurate invoices and labels for outgoing cases.

You will disinfect incoming cases per safety procedures, provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and blog, and assist with packing, sorting, and prioritizing packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of dental lab products preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Responsible for tracking, entering, and researching information in current systems
• Prepare material for shipping by weighing, packaging, stamping, and preparing necessary shipping forms such as invoices and shipping labels
• Disinfect all incoming cases following laboratory safety processes
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and blog
• Assemble and fill boxes with items that need to be shipped
• Unload, sort, and prioritize incoming packages for case entry
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Provide support to employees and managers in the handling of all shipping related activities, including routing internal drivers for package pickup and delivery
• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn new programs
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• High attention to detail with the upmost accuracy is required
• Understanding of general administrative policies and procedures
• Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Maintain clean equipment and work area
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Team Player a MUST
• High school diploma or equivalent required
