Job summary

NDX Thayer Dental Laboratory in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to manage case scheduling, communications with dental practices, and shipping preparations. The role supports the laboratory workflow and ensures timely processing of cases.

Responsibilities include verifying information, invoicing, maintaining organization, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with standard benefits and a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unpack and sanitize new work per SOP
• Attach prescriptions and notes to case files
• Call customers to verify scheduling information
• Schedule incoming cases as primary responsibility
• Invoice finished cases
• Pack completed cases for shipping
• Consolidate cases for shipping
• Sort and ship packages requiring express services
• Disburse cases for local drivers
• Maintain clean, safe work area free of debris
• Answer telephones
• Assist with filing/scanning paperwork
• Assist with supply requests
• All other duties as assigned

Overview

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Scheduling Coordinator opportunity at NDX Thayer Dental Laboratory in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The regular hours for this position are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed as described in the procedural SOP
• Sort and attach doctor prescriptions, notes, etc. to the case pan
• Calling customers to verify and/or gather information to properly schedule cases
• Primary responsibility is to schedule incoming cases
• Invoice finished cases
• Properly pack completed cases
• Verify and properly consolidate all cases to prepare for shipping
• Sort and properly ship packages that require express services
• Disburse cases for local drivers
• Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work area free of debris
• Answering telephones
• Assist with filing and/or scanning completed paperwork properly
• Assist with supply request fulfillment as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education And Experience Required
