Job summary

Palmetto Bay Dental Services seeks a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists and guide patients through financial options that enable timely treatment. You will educate patients on treatment choices, overcome objections, and ensure a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) while supporting a Patients for Life (PFL) approach.

You will work with the team to learn the PDS system and tools, ensuring referrals and scheduling stay productive.

Responsibilities

• Support Dentists by obtaining financial commitments to start recommended treatments.
• Educate patients on treatment options and payment plans to improve case acceptance.
• Proficient in PDS system and tools to assist patients in decision-making.
• Coordinate HC handoffs with clinicians at each exam.
• Explain and offer available financial options to fit patient budgets.
• Overcome common patient objections and obtain proper insurance pre-authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain PPE and POSITIVE patient experience; contribute to Patients for Life (PFL).
