PDS Health is hiring a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported dentists and help secure patient commitment for treatment. You will educate patients on options, overcome objections, and ensure a smooth workflow, including pre-authorizations and PPE standards.

You will support dentists, maintain patient confidentiality, and contribute to a positive patient experience and office performance in a dynamic dental practice setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Preferred: coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
• Knowledge of office practices, technology applications and patient insurances.

Responsabilités

• Gain a financial commitment from the patient to start the dentistry that the Dentist is diagnosing.
• Educate patients on treatment choices and overcome objections to start treatment.
• Proficient in PDS system and tools to assist patients in making the best decisions.
• Execute the HC Handoff with each clinician on every exam patient.
• Explain available financial options to help patients start dentistry that fits their budget.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations prior to completing treatment.
• Ensure the office demonstrates the Comprehensive Care Model and facilitates referrals.
• Participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and required gatherings.
