Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with Dentists and guide patients toward the best treatment decisions while focusing on financial options. You will help patients understand payment plans, pre-authorizations, and insurance processes to improve case acceptance.

In this role you will support clinicians, maintain accurate patient records, and participate in daily huddles and team meetings to uphold a Perfect Patient Experience and Patients for Life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel between offices.

Responsibilities

• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start the dentistry the Dentist is diagnosing.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financial choices.
• Ensure PPE principles are applied in patient interactions.
• Proficient use of PDS system and tools to assist patient decisions.
• Handoff coordination with clinicians during exams.
• Overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatments.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate patient records.
