Job summary

Casscountydentalclinic is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support front office operations and coordinate treatment plans, referrals, and insurance navigation. This role serves as a liaison between patients, providers, specialists, and community partners to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Based at the Harrisonville and Belton locations, the coordinator will handle scheduling, registration, eligibility verification, and patient education, supporting both clinics and coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related area required (BSW/BS/BSN etc).
• At least 1 year experience with case management preferred.
• Dental experience with knowledge of procedures preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding and completing treatment plans while supporting front office operations.
• Coordinate treatment, referrals, insurance navigation, scheduling, and patient education.
• Explain dental procedures to patients and families in an understandable way.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits on the day of service; schedule appointments and manage registration.
• Coordinate school-based program activities and community outreach as needed.
• Maintain patient records with accurate documentation of communications and consent.
