Job summary

CentroMed Sa is seeking a Dental Care Coordinator I to provide comprehensive care coordination for dental clients within their assigned group. Qualifications

• One-year dental assisting experience in a Dental health care setting preferred.
• Holds and maintains professional standards (licensing, CPR) for credentialing compliance.
• CPR Certified.
• Strong clerical skills including keyboarding and basic math.
• Some computer knowledge and calculator use.
• Ability to interview clients with attention to detail.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in looking up accounts in EPM & EHR using names, alias, family members, SSN, and numbers.
• Answer phones with proper clinic identification and excellent customer service.
• Assist providers with referrals, follow-ups, and second referrals as needed.
• Coordinate referrals or medical records for patient care continuum.
• Schedule clients for clinical and specialty services as needed.
• Document activities in EHR and C3 database.
• Update patient demographics in EPM, EHR, and C3 databases.
• Maintain PHI log and update audit reports.
• Attend weekly department meetings and meet metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
