Job summary

Willamette Dental Group in Olympia, WA is seeking a Care Advocate to partner with clinicians and staff to coordinate patient flow and deliver quality customer service. You will act as a communication bridge among patients, doctors, and front desk teams, handling appointments, recalls, insurance verification, and payments.

This full-time role supports provider recommendations and treatment coordination. The position requires HIPAA awareness, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework desirable.
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience, especially in medical/dental settings, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily schedule and maximize scheduling efficiencies.
• Assist with collecting and documenting payments; balance daily payments.
• Open/close the clinic and maintain a clean reception area.
• Update patient records and verify insurance information; schedule treatments.
• Provide information to patients about treatment plans and recalls.
• Triage emergency and unplanned treatment calls and coordinate referrals.
• Ensure compliance with Willamette Dental PPE policy.
• Travel to other WD locations as needed.
