Job summary

Willamette Dental is seeking a part-time Care Advocate in Spokane Valley to partner with the clinical team, coordinate patient flow, and communicate with patients, doctors and staff to enhance engagement. You will help schedule, handle payments, maintain charts and assist with recalls and referrals while upholding HIPAA and PPE policies and traveling to WD locations as needed.

This role balances front-desk duties with care coordination, ensuring accurate documentation, smooth patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary coursework or equivalent experience desirable.
• Minimum of two years customer service experience preferred.
• Medical/dental clinic or healthcare experience highly desirable, including HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily schedule and maximize scheduling efficiencies.
• Understand payment methods and collect and document payments for dental services.
• Balance daily payment ledger and reconcile payments; complete deposits.
• Update patient insurance information and schedule treatment as directed.
• Prepare and organize patient charts for appointments; maintain routing processes.
• Triage incoming emergency and unplanned treatment calls; coordinate recalls and referrals.
• Adhere to PPE policy and travel to other WD locations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area and reliable attendance.
