Willamette Dental Group is seeking a Care Advocate in Idaho to coordinate patient flow, communicate with patients and clinicians, and support treatment plans. You will manage scheduling, verify insurance data, and assist with deposits and billing while ensuring a smooth patient experience across the clinic.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, patient engagement, and collaboration with the clinical team to reinforce recalls and provider recommendations. Travel to WD locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years customer service experience preferred; healthcare experience and HIPAA procedures are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily schedule and maximize scheduling efficiencies.
• Understand payment methods and collect/payments for dental services.
• Maintain accurate daily cash handling and deposits, and reconcile payments.
• Update patient records and verify insurance information; schedule treatments as directed.
• Prepare and organize patient charts; ensure chart routing and recalls are current.
• Triage emergency and unplanned calls; reinforce recalls and referrals.
• Adhere to Willamette Dental PPE policies and travel as needed.
