MB2 Dental is hiring a Billing Coordinator in Carrollton, TX. The role focuses on real-time follow-up on denials, review of Medicaid/Commercial claims, filing appeals, and gathering information for client offices. You will work with Dentrix, EagleSoft, and Open Dental to streamline processes.

The position requires 2+ years of dental/medical billing experience, solid knowledge of Medicaid/Commercial insurance, and strong communication skills. A collaborative, independent work style is valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental/medical billing experience.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid/Commercial Insurance and claim processing.
• Experience with practice management software (Dentrix, EagleSoft, Open Dental) is preferred.
• Proficient MS Excel knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Research and correct claim discrepancies for client offices.
• Follow up on reconsiderations, resubmissions and appeals.
• Complete aging reports for all offices assigned.
• Directly address insurance denials received (within 3 business days).
• Communicate with client offices to request additional information needed for claims.
• File secondary claims as needed with supporting documentation.
• Create and maintain online portals for Insurance companies.
• Follow up and resolve all communication requests (Responses within 2 business days).
• Complete other projects as assigned.
