Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to manage patient accounts, reimbursement processes, and denial resolutions across dental services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), verify insurance eligibility, submit claims, follow up on outstanding balances, and communicate clearly with patients and insurance companies regarding payment obligations. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Insurance Billing and Coding or 5+ years direct ambulatory or community health billing experience.
• Experience in ambulatory or community health billing and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and communicate with payers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accounts receivable records confidentially and in line with standard procedures.
• Keeps internal controls over accounts receivable.
• Monitors collections and reimbursements from insurance payers.
• Reviews and processes insurance denials and EOBs.
• Communicates with patients and insurers regarding payment policies and obligations.
• Prepares reports and surveys related to billing, collections, and reimbursements.
• Verifies insurance/claim status and resubmits claims as needed.
• Monitors billing trends and assists with billing issues for patients.
