Job summary

River Breeze Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team, supporting clinicians with four‑handed dentistry, taking x‑rays, using iTero 3D scanning, and ensuring patient comfort from first contact through treatment. You’ll review health histories, manage scheduling in Dentrix, and maintain clean, safe treatment rooms in line with OSHA and CDC guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric dental environments.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• X-ray certification and/or dental assistant certification as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey and maintain comfort throughout treatment.
• Review patient health histories to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory; place and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
