Ocean Bay Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support clinicians across a variety of procedures. You’ll greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays, and maintain accurate records using Dentrix.

Qualificações

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Proceed with a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI and HIPAA training; protect data safeguards.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and ensure comfort.
• Conduct a review of patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
