Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join South River Dentistry's team. You will greet patients, support dentists with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help maintain a safe, efficient treatment room using Dentrix for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• VA x-ray certification and HIPAA training awareness.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI with PHI safeguards and HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate for comfort.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments with iTero 3D scanner.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
• Manage inventory and place orders; support Heartland Dental systems.
