Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant at Springwoods Market Dental Care to join a patient‑first team. You will support dentists with a variety of procedures, handle chairside assistance, and help maintain a safe, organized treatment space.

You’ll use iTero scanning, Dentrix scheduling, and uphold HIPAA standards while contributing to high‑quality patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-centric environment.
• If required under state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
