Job summary

Centurion, a provider of healthcare services for the Indiana Department of Corrections, is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for Madison Correctional Facility in Madison, Indiana. The role works under the Dentist or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry within a correctional setting.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, completion of a technical program in dental assisting or six months’ experience, Dental Radiology certification; CPR certification; Expanded Duty Dental

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six months of experience required.
• Certification in Dental Radiology required.
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred.
• Must show PPD TB screening documentation and CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen, and background check.

We have partnered with Exos as our subcontractor for Dental Assistant services.We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Madison Correctional Facility located in Madison, Indiana.The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory• Operating radiographic equipment• Administrative tasks as needed• High school diploma or GED equivalent required• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required• Certification in Dental Radiology required• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkShift:Part-time days, 20 hours per weekCenturion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
