Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Dental Assistant for Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The role works under the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in a correctional setting, performing chairside dentistry and related duties.

Responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining the operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and handling administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or at least 6 months experience.
• Certification in Dental Radiology required.
• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred.
• CPR certification required; TB screening (PPD) documentation may be needed.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Maintain the dental operatory.
• Operate radiographic equipment.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
