Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant for Heritage Trail Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry within a correctional setting.

Essential duties include preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining the operatory, operating radiographic equipment, and performing administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required.
• Certification in Dental Radiology required.
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred.
• Must show/obtain current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, drug screen and criminal background check.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Heritage Trail Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.

The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required

• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
