South River Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team within the Heartland Dental network. You will work with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team devoted to patient-centered care.

You’ll assist dentists with four-handed dentistry, manage imaging using iTero and Dentrix, and uphold safety standards per OSHA/CDC guidelines while growing within a large dental network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• VA x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection requirements.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and educate them during treatment while ensuring comfort.
• Review patient health history to inform quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
