Sunset Avenue Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will greet patients, review health histories, and assist dentists with procedures using iTero and Dentrix.

The role emphasizes patient education, accuracy in documentation, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Training and growth opportunities are available within Heartland Dental’s recognized network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
