Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services, an Arizona pediatric dental leader, seeks an Orthodontics Dental Assistant to support care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, and by passing instruments during procedures.

The role requires assisting with procedures (invisalign preferred), taking x-rays, educating patients on oral hygiene, sterilizing instruments, and preparing rooms. Charting of treatments ensures accurate records and seamless visits.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or related experience and/or training (preferred).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Arizona X-Ray certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures (including invisalign, knowledge of invisalign preferred)
• Takes x-rays
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment
• Charting of patient\'s treatment

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Arizona dental standards.
