Shuttle View Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and support clinicians with chairside assistance and patient education. You will process x-rays and imaging, maintain sterile treatment rooms, and use Dentrix to manage schedules and records.

The role requires dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, with HIPAA training to protect patient information. A fast-paced, patient-focused environment is expected, with opportunities for growth within Heartland

Qualifications

• Must have dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment is preferred.
• Regular HIPAA training and PHI protection are required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x‑rays and diagnostic assessments like iTero 3D scans.
• Provide chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
