Heartland Dental in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll work with Dentrix, assist clinicians, take X-rays, and help manage patient flow in a fast-paced, patient-centered office.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification if required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate as needed.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies, inventory, and place orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
