Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant for RLJ Dental-Oshkosh to join our team. You’ll support clinicians with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.

You’ll review health histories, manage scheduling in Dentrix, prepare rooms per safety protocols, and maintain supplies while upholding HIPAA standards. This role offers growth within a stable national network and exposure to advanced technology like iTero.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-centric environments.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner).
• Provide chairside assistance during a range of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
