Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to join Admiral Dental Care. The role focuses on welcoming patients, reviewing health histories, and supporting dentists with chairside procedures using Dentrix for scheduling and records.

You’ll follow OSHA/CDC safety protocols and help maintain a clean, well-prepared treatment room. The ideal candidate will have dental procedure knowledge, strong communication, and HIPAA awareness, with preferred Dentrix and x-ray certification experience.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required under state practice act, dental assistant and/or x-ray certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
