Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for RLJ Dental-Oshkosh in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will greet patients, review health histories, take X-rays, and provide four‑handed chairside support to dentists while maintaining safety and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, ensuring comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to tailor quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
