Job summary

Iron Gate Dental Care in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health history, take x-rays using iTero 3D scanner and digital photography, provide chairside assistance, and support the providers in a fast-paced environment.

You will use Dentrix for scheduling, maintain safety per OSHA & CDC guidelines, manage supplies, and help implement Heartland Dental systems to improve workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them as treatment progresses.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Maintain safety with OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
