Job summary

Germann Crossing Dental Care in Gilbert, a Heartland Dental-supported office, is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team as we open a brand-new practice. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, perform four-handed chairside assistance, use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and help maintain a safe, efficient workflow in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of chairside experience, Dentrix familiarity, and a commitment to HIPAA and OSHA

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in general dentistry.
• Dentrix or similar dental software experience.
• Arizona Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) certificate required.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate them on treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain treatment rooms with proper safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders to support office workflow.
