Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Associated Dental Care Providers-Bell in Glendale, AZ. You will support clinicians with chairside procedures, manage patient flow, and maintain safety and sterilization standards in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities include patient education, radiography, using Dentrix for scheduling and records, and ensuring PHI protection. This role offers training, competitive benefits, and a supportive team focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
• Arizona RHS certificate required
• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Attention to detail, empathetic, communicates well, and outgoing
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must protect PHI and complete HIPAA training

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and support comfort and education throughout treatment.
• Conduct health history reviews to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures in accordance with state practice act.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to OSHA & CDC safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
