Responsibilities

• 35%: chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry for faculty, including general and specialty cases; update patient information in the EHR.
• 30%: set up operatory for dental and surgical procedures; maintain and sterilize instruments; ensure OSHA-compliant environment.
• 10%: acquire radiographs as directed; follow safety standards for x-ray use.
• 10%: assist with patient care including transport and monitoring post-anesthesia; protect patient privacy.
• 10%: manage supplies and inventory; maintain MSDS notebook; report equipment issues and fill exposure and incident forms.
• 5%: support other clinics and perform related duties as directed by the supervisor.
