Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state act
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from their first visit and support comfort throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC)
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow
