Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Woodlands team in the United States. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, and provide four-handed chairside support with Dentrix scheduling and record-keeping workflows.

You’ll work with iTero 3D scanning tech, maintain safety protocols, and help manage supplies while partnering with the providers to optimize office workflow. Excellent communication and HIPAA awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced patient-centric environment.
• Certification and/or X-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
