Heartland is seeking a Dental Assistant for Sterling Creek Dental Care in Florida. You will support clinicians with chairside assistance, radiographs, patient education, and health history reviews, while maintaining schedules and records in Dentrix.

Ideal candidates bring dental procedure knowledge, strong communication, and HIPAA training. Certifications in dental assisting and x-ray are preferred per state requirements, with a commitment to safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x‑ray per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostics.
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare rooms and follow safety/OSHA protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team to optimize office workflow.
