Qualifications

• Minimum: working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification required per state act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory; place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team to implement Heartland Dental systems.
