Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant for our Dental Care at Ibis location in Florida. The role supports clinicians with chairside assistance and x-ray duties, ensuring patient comfort and a smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate will have dental assistant certification and x-ray certification, plus experience in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills. Schedule includes Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri and Tue shifts, with potential for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists (four-handed dentistry).
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
