Heartland Dental's Dental Care of Minooka is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, and provide four‑handed chairside support to our dentists.

Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping, maintain a safe treatment room per OSHA & CDC guidelines, manage supplies, and collaborate with providers to improve office workflow within a stable company with 20+ years of experience.

Formación

• Must have knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey.
• Review health histories to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with OSHA & CDC compliant safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and inventory levels; place and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve office workflow.
