Heartland Dental is seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, review medical histories, and assist chairside during a variety of procedures using Dentrix for scheduling and records. You’ll follow safety protocols and maintain PHI protection, with opportunities for ongoing training and growth.

Formación

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state practice act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients and educate throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders; support office workflow.
