Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team in Beloit, WI. The role focuses on patient greeting, health history review, x-ray processing, and four-handed chairside support to clinicians. You will also manage scheduling in Dentrix and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Ideal candidates have dental procedures knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. HIPAA training and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, educate during treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC.
• Manage supplies and place expeditious orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
