Job summary

Mission Lakes Dental Care, backed by Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 8:00am–4:00pm; Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm. You’ll support clinicians, prep rooms, take x-rays, and use Dentrix for scheduling while upholding safety and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced dental office environment.
• Certification in dental assisting and x-ray imaging.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and imaging (iTero 3D scanner, digital photos).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow.
