Job summary

Heartland Dental's Dental Care at Lake Dow is opening a brand-new office in the Lake Dow community and seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to join a growing team. You will support clinicians with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help implement Heartland Dental systems in a collaborative environment.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends, and growth opportunities as the practice builds.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in General Dentistry.
• Certification in dental assisting and/or x-ray as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
