Job summary

The Lakes Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant with 1 year of prior dental assisting experience to join our Heartland Dental supported office. You will be welcomed into a collaborative team and provide compassionate chairside support across a variety of procedures.

Gain hands-on training and contribute to patient education, health history reviews, and precise x-ray/Digital imaging work in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Tue–Thu 8am–6pm, Fri 8am–2pm.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Must have dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state practice act.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures in line with state practice act.
• Manage scheduling and record keeping in Dentrix.
