Sullivan Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The role involves greeting patients, reviewing health histories, and providing chairside support to dentists during procedures.

You will take x-rays and other diagnostics, maintain patient records in Dentrix, and prepare treatment rooms according to safety standards. Growth opportunities exist within a stable Heartland Dental network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photos).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory, place and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
