Job summary

Ideal Dental in High Point, NC is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a clinician-led, fast-growing team. You will assist with procedures, take X-rays, and help prepare operatories while supporting doctors with charting and patient care.

Requirements include an Active Registered Dental Assistant license, current CPR certification, and 6–12 months of RDA experience. DeNovo offices may require travel. We offer a competitive salary with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
• Take dental x-rays with precision to support diagnoses.
• Prepare and break down operatories, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.
• Manage patient flow and assist in transitions during visits.
• Ensure infection control and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take impressions and bite registrations for dental appliances.
• Conduct digital scans (iTero) for accurate data.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation for treatment planning.
