Job summary

Centurion is hiring a Full-time Dental Assistant for Heritage Trail Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. You will assist the dentist and hygienist in a correctional setting, maintaining operatory sterility and handling radiographic tasks as required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a dental assisting program or 6 months' experience, Dental Radiology certification, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance.

We have partnered with Exos as our subcontractor for Dental Assistant services.We are currently seeking a Full-time Dental Assistant for an opportunity at Heritage Trail Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments• Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory• Operating radiographic equipment• Administrative tasks as needed• High school diploma or GED equivalent required• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required• Certification in Dental Radiology required• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkShift:VariedCenturion is the provider of healthcare services for the Indiana DOC.
