Job summary

Centurion is seeking a PRN Dental Assistant for Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry within a correctional setting.

Essential duties include sterilizing instruments, preparing the operatory, and operating radiographic equipment, along with routine administrative tasks. The position is per diem with varied shifts in Plainfield.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six months of experience as a Dental Assistant required.
• Certification in Dental Radiology required.
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred.
• Must show/obtain TB screening documentation (PPD).
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

We are currently seeking aPRN Dental Assistant for anopportunity at Reception DiagnosticCorrectional Facilitylocated in Plainfield, Indiana.

The Dental Assistant (Indiana) works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required
• Certification in Dental Radiology required
• Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferred
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
